Please note that the
finding and recommendations reported within this
joint study are still relevant to the US-31 Corridor
in 2007. The Study is again released to the
pubic as an aid in understanding the benefits it
provides to the improvement and maintenance of the
rural character of US-31 within our Township.
The Study has been in use and is in part the guide
the Elk Rapids Township Planning Commission has been
using for all new non-residential development along
the US-31 Roadway.

Listed here for your review are a few of the
sketch drawing contained within the Joint US-31
Corridor Study which outline the concepts and aids
to be undertaken for the preservation of the rural
